DEFROST EG 88.1
- removal of ice from aircraft surfaces and short-term protection against ice formation in ground icing conditions
- used for airplanes with the take-off speed of at least 120 km/h at the beginning of the front pillar lifting, i.e. for the transport category airplanes and low-speed transition category airplanes
- does not protect aircraft from icing during flights
- compatible with DEFROST ECO 4 type IV and DEFROST NORTH 4 type IV liquids during two-stage aircraft processing
The liquid «DEFROST EG 88.1», type I, is produced on the basis of an aqueous solution of monoethylene glycol with addition of an anticorrosive additive and surfactant; it is painted in orange.
The liquid by its performance characteristics meets the requirements of SAE AMS 1424/1 and was approved by the International Certification Center AMIL (Canada), having been included in the following lists: Holdover Time (HOT) Transport Canada, Holdover Time (HOT) FAA and the List of ROSAVIATION, being approved for use in the Russian Federation.
